Ready For The Challenge!

This quote totally sums up what I have realized in the past few months. I don’t want to eat healthy because I hate my body, I want to be healthy because I want to have a long life (and it won’t hurt looking good while living a long life!). Being healthy has always been a roller coaster for me. I will work out for a week, eat healthy for a few days and then fall off the wagon for 6 months before I try out the healthy thing again. I haven’t been 100% on track over the last 4 months, but I have been far better at it lately than I ever have before and I honestly owe this motivation to the latest workout program I have started. This program was the 21-Day Fix, which you can read my previous post about it here. It is such a great program and helped me “get going” towards portioning and still eating things I like.

After my experience doing the 21-Day Fix, I have fallen in love with Beach body and their programs! I got some serious results from the first round of the program and I am so excited to start another one of the Beachbody programs called, PiYo. PiYo is a mix between Pilaties and Yoga, which happen to be my favorite workouts from the 21 DF, that sculpts your body by only using your body weight and quick movements. I have heard it really makes you sweat, I can’t wait for it to get here!

Another thing I love about Beachbody is a product called Shakeology. I have noticed a few people references Shakeology as a protein shake, but it really is much more than that. I have drank protein shakes before and they don’t make me feel anything like this one. It helps with energy, it’s full of super-foods, it’s a meal replacement, and a ton more. It’s also cheaper than buying a lunch out would cost, take that McDonalds. I have only tried the Vanilla as of now, but I am thinking about trying the Strawberry or Greenberry next. They also have vegan flavors, for those of you that have a stronger will than I do when it comes to eating meat and drinking milk…and cheeeese! Oh how I love cheese.

I have been debating becoming a Beachbody Coach for the last 3 months. Just because I have noticed on a few support pages that coaches are always trying to argue their points about the products and I am just not into that. I then actually took the time to read into the benefits I would have of becoming a coach, and it seems like the best thing to do right now. It will give me the extra motivation to stay on top of my health, and hopefully it will also encourage my friends and family. For every negative coach I find, there are at least 25 great ones that are ready and willing to help anyone with their fitness and health questions, even fellow coaches! So I am taking the leap and becoming a Beachbody Coach! It’s a little something else added to my busy schedule, but I am ready for the challenge!

Next week, I will be having a contest for anyone that would like to either purchase Shakeology, a work out program, or a Challenge pack through me! The prizes will be a Beachbody work out program, a bag of Shakeology or a challenge pack depending on which contest you partake in! I will also be including an awesome motivational shirt from Ruffles With Love. These three are just a sample of the awesome shirts on the website, and they can also be customized however you would like!

    Oh, this sounds awesome! I think fitness and eating well is a lifestyle and it takes a lot of discipline, but it is attainable. Looking forward to hearing about your coaching journey!

    Interesting! I was doing T25 from Beach Body, but fell off a little. My biggest downfall is grocery shopping and keeping my house stocked with healthy foods. I’m excited to hear about your journey as a coach. The best of luck to you.

    I just started PiYo on Monday so today is day 3 for me and I’m loving it and it is true that it DOES make you sweat haha. How is the Vanilla Shakeology? I’ve only done the Chocolate and Strawberry flavors myself, Chocolate is my favorite with some banana and a little peanut or almond butter mixed in. The strawberry is a little tart to me so I like to mix in some mangos and bananas into it also.

      I like the Vanilla a lot! I mix in bananas, strawberries, ice, and 3 oz. of vanilla almond milk. I want to try the chocolate next :)
