• Disney World In 4 Days + Disney Vlog!

I am about 5 trips behind, but I can’t help but dive into Disney World recaps first! Some people may think it is crazy to see all 4 parks in Disney World in 4 days…and I wouldn’t argue…but for us it was all the time we had and it was well worth it in the end. We left bright and early the day after Thanksgiving and took full advantage of the rest of the day in a park. I think at this point our adrenaline was on high and we could have went all day…as you will see, we did! For 4 days in a row! It’s obvious to want…

    Final Travel Update For 2016

I can’t believe this is already my third and final recap of our travel for 2016! Where in the world did the last 366 days go?! Looking back, I can’t believe we were still able to see somewhere new every single month of this year. It resulted in some exhaustion but it was well worth it. I feel like we are leaving this year behind with some of the best memories we will ever make, and even more “best day ever’s” While our plans changed some from the goals made in the first travel post, the USA has so much to see that we will always have more to explore.…

From Here To There: Birmingham, Alabama

My travel recaps are months behind, but in the next few months of less travel (and less overwhelm) I am excited to think back to the great adventures of 2016 and reflect on everything we did. Our weekend trip for October was to Birmingham, Alabama. I accidentally planned this trip for the same weekend as a huge race in Talledega and a college game day game at University of Alabama- whoops! This meant sold out hotels and packed restaurants. Thankfully, I had some other things planned. This trip was a slower trip compared to others we have taken this year, and we still managed to see some very cool…

  • My 5 Favorite Things About Disney World (As An Adult)

I am back from two wirlwind trips over the last two weeks and I am excited to start recapping them! I am going out of order today and sharing my favorite things from our most recent trip which was Disney World! This was my first time staying at a Disney property and I am fairly certain I will for every Disney trip that is to come. It really is true that it’s the most magical place on earth- especially during the Christmas season! It has taken me almost 10 years to get back to Disney and it’s totally different as an adult, which is why I thought it would be…

Holland America Cruise Experience: The Drinks

After highlighting all the delicious foods from our Holland America cruise, let’s get to the drinks! Holland America, like most cruises, now offers an all you can drink plan which starts around $50 per day. The catch is that you have to purchase the plan for everyday on your cruise, and for everyone in your room. For us that would have been $1100 on our 11 day cruise, plus tax. We were on a very port heavy schedule, so we decided to buy each drink instead of purchasing the plan, and I am so glad we did. The best thing about Holland America was the happy hours every.single.day. There are…

  • Holland America Cruise Experience: The Food

We recently booked another cruise and that reminded me that I should probably finish the recaps from our first cruise! As I mentioned in my last post about this topic, we decided to cruise with Holland America because we wanted relaxation. We wanted to be reminded that we were on our honeymoon and that we should enjoy it to it’s fullest. A big part of that was the atmosphere that the other cruisers and the staff provided, but it was also because of the delicious food and drinks. There were 6 various restaurants on board with four of them being included and two of them incurring an extra fee. I…
