Things To Do In New Orleans

I have so many travel posts to share and not enough time to share them right away, so today we are throwing it back to February when we took a weekend trip to New Orleans. I have previously shared my recommendations on where to eat, how to get around and also a summary of our trip. Now I want to share some of the best things to do in New Orleans while you are there. We had a good amount of time in the city, but since it was my birthday, we didn’t want to overly pack our days with things to do. As a group we decided to each…

Where To Eat In New Orleans

Deciding where to eat in New Orleans was a task! NOLA had an amazing assortment of food, and obviously endless supplies of Cajun cuisine. The French Quarter is the most popular area where you will find St. Louis Cathedral, Jackson Square and Bourbon Street. According to some locals, Marigny and Bywater are both one in the same, except Frenchman Street is definitely in the Marigny. Uptown is where Magazine Street is, which…

From Here To There: New Orleans, Louisiana

We had so much fun in New Orleans for my 25th birthday, and I’m excited to start recapping everything we did. In typical To Travel & Beyond fashion, I am going to start with a general overview of everything within this post, and then go into detail in future posts. The trip was with one of my oldest friends, Gina, and her boyfriend, Josh. Of course, Dave tagged along as well. We had the most beautiful weather for almost our entire trip, and really took advantage of this. It was so hard coming home to cold temperatures! We left on a Thursday night, and arrived in time to still enjoy…
