Guide To Rides In Disneyland Paris + All Attractions & Shows

Disneyland Paris is a great experience for Disney fans, with unique rides, attractions, and entertainment. We are a self proclaimed “Disney family”, and love comparing the rides in all parks from the USA, to Paris, Japan and beyond.

Some of the rides in Disneyland Paris are somewhat unique, but they also have many of the classics and a few of the best rides, which are fun for all ages. 

How cool is it to visit Disney parks all over the world?! We’re still working on checking off a few more parks, but so far, comparing the experiences is a bucket list item for us.

Between Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios theme parks, you will find a wide range of rides and attractions for the whole family.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Walt Disney Studios will become Disney Adventure World on March 29th, 2026 along with the opening of World of Frozen in Paris. While the name will change, and a new land will make it’s debut, most of the information related to current rides and experiences will remain the same.

As of writing this in October 2025, there are 31 rides, 13 attractions and 10 shows between the two parks. Several more rides, attractions and shows are coming to the parks in 2026 and 2027. 

It’s important to have an idea about which rides, shows, and attractions you want to prioritize on your trip, but I also recommend having an understanding about Disneyland Paris as well. 

There are a few unique things to pay attention to, and it’s really helpful to consider if a Premier Pass is worth it for your travel group. My ultimate guide to Disneyland Paris will tell you everything you need to know before planning your trip to these parks! 

What’s in Disneyland Park?

Disneyland Park is the “main park” within Disneyland Paris, it’s the “castle park”, the “classic park” and the one where you can stroll down Main Street with a macaron. It’s such an exceptional and beautifully decorated Disney experience.

Rides

Main Street U.S.A

Disneyland Railroad – Main Street Station

• The Disneyland Railroad is a classic attraction that circles the entire park, offering a peaceful and scenic journey through multiple themed lands. It’s a great way to rest your feet, take in the details of Disneyland Paris, or get from one side of the park to another without missing the magic in between. Each leg of the journey tells its own story, complete with audio narration and beautifully designed scenery.
  • Ride Experience: The train makes stops in Main Street, Frontierland, Fantasyland, and Discoveryland, allowing guests to hop on and off throughout the day.
  • Scenery Highlights: You’ll glide past the Grand Canyon Diorama, the prehistoric Primeval World, and stunning views of the park’s landscapes and landmarks.

Adventureland 

Indiana Jones

• Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril is a fast-paced roller coaster that flings guests through ancient ruins filled with mysterious traps and jungle dangers. Designed for thrill lovers, it combines sharp turns and loops with immersive theming in an archaeological expedition style. This ride offers a thrilling escape into the adventurous spirit of the Indiana Jones films in a setting full of surprises. I love a strong story backdrop, but this one is a very quick ride, it felt like the fastest ride (not in a good way) in the park. So, determine how long you are willing to wait in line if you want to ride this one.
  • High-Speed Coaster Track: Featuring one of Disneyland Paris’s only loops, the track takes tight curves and sudden drops, delivering an exhilarating experience.
  • Visual Effects: Fire pits, crumbling walls, and quick flashes of torchlight add dynamic thrills that heighten the sense of danger and excitement.

Pirates of the Caribbean

• Board a misty boat and venture into a swashbuckling world of buccaneers on Pirates of the Caribbean, a classic dark ride filled with elaborate sets and lively animatronics. This gentle journey offers a perfect mix of history and fantasy, featuring ghostly pirates, treasure chambers, and whimsical moments along the way. Pirates has become a classic in my opinion, and I love comparing the version in every park. Like in Disneyland California, this ride is longer than the version in Magic Kingdom, and has a restaurant along the way.
  • Boats and Waterway: Guests float gently in well-designed boats along a peaceful yet mysterious river, passing through caverns and pirate hideouts decorated with detailed props.
  • Animatronic Pirates: Dozens of lifelike pirates perform animated actions, including sword fights, treasure digging, and raucous singing, bringing the wild pirate scenes vividly to life.
  • Iconic Soundtrack: The catchy, memorable theme song “Yo Ho (A Pirate’s Life for Me)” plays throughout the ride, enhancing the playful and adventurous mood.

Frontierland

Phantom Manor 

I’m going to go out on a limb and say this might be my favorite version of Haunted Mansion? The outside looks great with a Victorian spooky vibe, the scenes throughout the ride were unique, and the queue area was really well done. The only exception would be the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay in Disneyland, California. 

• Phantom Manor offers a mysterious and eerie dark ride set in a haunted Western-style manor with a sinister tale behind its walls. Like all Haunted Mansion experiences, this ride weaves a narrative filled with ghostly residents, creepy surprises, and atmospheric music. It is beautifully crafted to deliver spooky thrills and emotional depth, making it a unique Disneyland Paris experience that’s as intriguing as it is unsettling.
  • Detailed Haunted Mansion Setting: The manor’s exterior and interior feature Victorian Gothic architecture combined with Wild West influences for a distinct, moody ambiance.
  • Atmospheric Special Effects: Elements like flickering lights, phantom figures, and sudden ghostly sounds create an immersive haunted atmosphere that surprises and delights.

Thunder Mesa Riverboat Landing (currently closed)

• Set sail on a relaxing journey around Frontierland aboard one of the grand riverboats, the Molly Brown or Mark Twain. This slow-moving attraction offers a fresh perspective of Big Thunder Mountain, Phantom Manor, and the wild frontier beyond.
  • Ride Experience: A gentle cruise with plenty of photo opportunities of the surrounding landscapes and time to rest.
  • Scenery Highlights: Pass through hidden coves, waterfalls, and western mining towns, all while the paddlewheel turns against the shimmering river.

Big Thunder Mountain

Hands down the BEST version of Big Thunder Mountain. The underground escape to the island and back is so cool. It also felt slightly smoother than other BTM rides. This is a must do! 

• Big Thunder Mountain whisks you away on a runaway mine train adventure through the rugged wilderness. This coaster combines a rustic western theme with thrilling dips and curves that make it fun for almost every level of thrill-seeker. As you zip along, you can enjoy panoramic views of Frontierland sprinkled with detailed rockwork and old mining equipment. The ride’s storytelling is immersive without needing words – just the sights and sounds are enough to spark the imagination. It’s a favorite if you like action, thrills, and theming. 
• Mine Train Cars: Each train has several cars styled like old wooden mining carts, complete with weathered paint and metal rails that enhance the authentic old-west vibe.
• Rocky Landscape: The mountains and cliffs are filled with carefully sculpted red rocks and rugged textures that catch the light, making the environment feel alive and dynamic throughout the ride. It’s beautiful to see! 
• Moderate Thrills: The ride includes some sharp drops, tight turns, and speed changes, offering adrenaline without overwhelming younger riders or those new to roller coasters.

It’s one of those rides where you can catch new details even after multiple visits. Whether you’re into roller coasters or just love a good story-driven experience, it’s worth a spin during your Disneyland Paris adventure.

Disneyland Railroad – Frontierland Depot

Fantasyland

Blance-Neuge et les Sept Nains (Snow White)

• This dark ride transports guests straight into the heart of Snow White’s fairytale, from the evil Queen’s lair to the Dwarfs’ cozy cottage. It’s one of Fantasyland’s most nostalgic attractions, perfect for those who love classic Disney storytelling.
  • Ride Experience: Board a mine cart and relive key scenes from the animated film with charming yet slightly spooky effects.
  • Visual Effects: Mirrors, mist, and lighting shifts make this one of the darker Fantasyland rides – especially for little ones sensitive to the Queen’s transformation scene.

Les Voyages de Pinocchio 

Step into the story of the little wooden puppet who dreamed of becoming a real boy. This Fantasyland dark ride captures the highs and lows of Pinocchio’s journey with colorful, hand-painted sets and glowing blacklight scenes.

• Ride Experience: Ride through scenes of temptation, transformation, and triumph as you follow Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket.
• Visual Effects: Stromboli’s theater, Pleasure Island, and the belly of Monstro all feature vivid lighting and animation-style backdrops that bring this tale to life.

Le Carrousel de Lancelot 

A timeless classic, this grand carousel invites riders to take a spin on beautifully crafted horses beneath glittering lights and medieval music. Situated in the heart of Fantasyland, it’s a charming centerpiece that captures the essence of Disney nostalgia. I love taking a spin on the Carousel when we are in any Disney park; it’s such a nostalgic ride. 

• Ride Experience: Choose from two levels of ornately detailed horses as you circle to the sounds of cheerful melodies.
• Surrounding Area: Look for stained glass and golden accents that reflect the legend of King Arthur’s court.

Peter Pans Flight

While Peter Pan’s Flight isn’t vastly different than the versions in other parks, I actually really enjoyed it! It felt different enough to make it worthwhile to ride. 

On this ride, you fly over London and into Neverland. It’s a gentle dark ride that lets you soar above iconic scenes inspired by the beloved Disney classic. Suspended in pirate ships, visitors experience a magical view from above, seeing miniature landscapes illuminated with twinkling stars and charming details. It’s a nostalgic journey inviting you to relive childhood dreams of flying and adventure in a calm and enchanting environment.

• Flying Pirate Ships: Riders sit in open-air ships lifted off the ground, offering a suspended sensation that gently simulates flying through the air. These ships have two rows, which I thought was cool compared to the single row in Walt Disney World. 
• Miniature Landscapes: Meticulously crafted sets include tiny houses, the Darling family’s rooftop, and Neverland’s lush forests, all beautifully lit to evoke a magical nighttime scene.

Peter Pan’s Flight remains a timeless favorite thanks to its dreamy setting and smooth, imaginative ride experience. It’s an excellent pick for families wanting to introduce kids to Disneyland Paris magic or for anyone wishing to catch a whimsical moment amid a busy day. 

Casey Jr – le Petit Train du cirque 

All aboard the circus train! This charming mini-coaster takes riders on a journey through scenes from classic fairytales. It’s perfect for young families looking for their child’s first coaster-style ride. This was a family favorite! It was faster and far more fun than we anticipated- we rode it a few times back to back in the morning. 

• Ride Experience: The train chugs up and down small hills, with playful turns and cheerful music from Dumbo.
• The Views: Colorful storybook sets from Peter Pan, Cinderella, and Beauty and the Beast line the track, connecting it to the neighboring Storybook Canal Boats.

Le Pays des Contes de Fees (Storybook Canal Boats)

This slow, scenic boat ride was a fun surprise for us! You hop into a boat that winds through miniature storybook villages where Disney fairytales are brought to life. Each tiny scene is a work of art, filled with incredible detail and charm.

• Ride Experience: Cruise past enchanting miniatures from The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Frozen, and more.

Tip: Try pairing this with Casey Jr. – they intertwine beautifully for a complete Fantasyland experience.

“it’s a small world” 

My daughter has been using the term “classic” often, but she spells it “clasik” and that’s basically the one word to summarize this ride. It’s a classic, but with a beautiful twist compared to Walt Disney World. 

• This version of it’s a small world, brings a message of global unity, while being as joyful and colorful as ever, in Paris. The attraction celebrates cultures from around the world through singing dolls, costumes, and scenery.
• Ride Experience: Float through beautifully designed sets representing continents and countries, accompanied by the famously catchy song.

Discoveryland

Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast

If you are ready to bring a little bit of competition to your day in Disneyland, Buzz is the best ride for it! 

Take aim and join Buzz Lightyear in a laser-shooting interactive ride where you battle to defeat the evil Emperor Zurg. Perfect for families and competitive friends, Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast combines fun themes with a personal scoring element that makes each ride unique. Whether you want to test your accuracy or just enjoy the story, this attraction delivers lively engagement in a colorful sci-fi setting.

• Interactive Laser Guns: Each rider receives a laser gun to aim and shoot at targets, earning points based on accuracy and target difficulty throughout the ride.
• Score Tracking: The ride tracks your points, displayed at the end, encouraging friendly competition and repeat rides to improve your score.
• Multiplayer Ride Vehicles: Cars hold two riders side by side, fostering a cooperative battle atmosphere and easy interaction between friends or family.

Orbitron 

Take command of your own rocket ship and soar high above Discoveryland in this futuristic flight inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s visionary sketches of space travel. Orbitron offers a perfect blend of nostalgia and adventure, giving guests sweeping views of the park below. While the Walt Disney World version is up high in the sky, you board this one from the ground, similar to Disneyland in California. 

• Did You Know? Orbitron operates entirely through hydraulic power, and each rocket can lift to over 15 feet in the air, offering one of the best panoramic views of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Star Tours 

Blast off with C-3PO and R2-D2 on a motion-simulator adventure through the Star Wars galaxy. Each ride offers a different combination of scenes, meaning no two journeys are ever quite the same. It’s a thrilling, immersive experience for both Star Wars fans and newcomers alike. 

• Ride Experience: Strap into a Starspeeder 1000 and hold tight as you dodge TIE fighters, jump to hyperspace, and encounter characters from across the saga.

Fun Fact: There are over 70 possible scene combinations, so each flight could take you to a different world – from Jakku to Hoth to Coruscant – making it worth riding more than once.

Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain

This high-speed indoor roller coaster launches guests on a Rebel Alliance mission through the heart of an intergalactic battle. Combining the intensity of classic Space Mountain with the epic scope of Star Wars, it’s one of Disneyland Paris’s most exhilarating rides.

• Ride Experience: Experience a powerful launch into space, synchronized music, and dramatic projections as you weave through laser fire and star destroyers. 
• Hyperspace Mountain is unique to Disneyland Paris – it’s the only version in the world with inversions and a launch start, making it a must for thrill-seekers and Star Wars fans alike.

Autopia

This is a family favorite- especially now that my daughter is tall enough to “drive”. 

With this ride, you are able to drive your own “futuristic” car through a scenic track winding around pretty landscapes. It’s a gentle ride, if you are good at staying on track, designed especially for kids but enjoyable for anyone who enjoys a scenic and quick ride. The charming retro-futuristic cars and playful route make it a lighthearted driving experience filled with imaginative touches.

• Car Vehicles: Guests control small cars with simple steering and pedals, experiencing a hands-on motoring adventure with safety controls in place.
• Thematic Elements: Stylized gas stations, billboards, and tunnels contribute to a retro sci-fi vibe inspired by visions of the future.
• Family-Friendly Pace: The speed is gentle and safe, allowing younger drivers to feel comfortable while enjoying the sensation of driving.

Disneyland Railroad – Discoveryland Station

• The last stop (depending on where you started!) on the railroad journey around the park. 

Attractions

Adventureland 

La Cabane de Robinson

Inspired by Swiss Family Robinson, this towering treehouse offers one of the best views in Adventureland. Guests can explore multiple levels of rope bridges, hidden rooms, and wooden walkways built high above the jungle floor.

Tip: Visit early in the day or right before sunset for shorter waits on the narrow stairways –  and a beautiful overlook of the park. 

Pirates Beach

A lively play area themed to Pirates of the Caribbean, this is a perfect stop for kids to burn off some energy. With climbing nets, wooden ships, and sandy paths, it’s an adventure all on its own. It’s located near Pirates of the Caribbean, it’s a great waiting spot if one adult is riding while the other stays with younger children.

Le Passage Enchanté d’Aladdin

This was such a fun walkthrough! Step into Agrabah in this walk-through attraction filled with miniature scenes that tell the story of Aladdin. Colorful dioramas, glittering treasures, and glowing lamps bring the tale to life as you wander at your own pace.

Adventure Isle 

An immersive island playground full of winding caves, rope bridges, waterfalls, and pirate hideouts. Adventure Isle connects La Cabane des Robinson and Pirates’ Beach with secret tunnels and suspension bridges, making it a must for explorers young and old.
Tip: Don’t rush – there are multiple paths, and exploring them all reveals hidden lookouts and fun surprises for kids.

Frontierland

Rustler Roundup Shootin’ Gallery

Step into an old-west shooting range in Frontierland! Grab a laser rifle and test your aim on moving and interactive targets across a rustic town backdrop.

• Unlike the one that used to be in Magic Kingdom, this one requires a small extra fee, but it’s a fun and nostalgic diversion, especially for older kids and parents competing for the best score.

Frontierland Playground

A western-themed play area designed for younger visitors, featuring slides, climbing structures, and open spaces for free play. It’s conveniently located near Phantom Manor and Thunder Mesa Riverboat Landing.

Fantasyland

Le Château de la Belle au bois dormant (Sleeping Beauty Castle)

The fairytale centerpiece of Disneyland Paris, this stunning castle is arguably the most beautiful Disney castle ever built. Inside, guests can walk through an upper-level gallery depicting the story of Sleeping Beauty with stained glass windows and tapestries.
Tip: Take time to admire the details – each window and sculpture tells a part of the story. For a unique experience, view the castle from the dragon’s lair below afterward.

La Taniere de Dragon (the dragon in the lair)

Hidden beneath the castle lies one of Disneyland Paris’s most impressive secrets – a massive, animatronic dragon that occasionally awakens with a growl and puff of smoke. It’s dark, atmospheric, and truly magical.
Tip: The entrance is easy to miss – look for a stone path to the left of the castle entrance to discover this hidden gem.

Meet Mickey Mouse 

Located in Fantasyland, this meet-and-greet offers guests the chance to meet Mickey in his magician’s dressing room. While you wait, classic Mickey cartoons play on a big screen, keeping kids entertained.

Royal Princess Pavilion 

This is where you can meet one of the Disney Princesses in a beautifully designed royal setting. The queue winds through a grand hall adorned with stained glass windows and regal details.
Tip: This is currently only accessible with a Virtual Queue spot! Check the app for the latest information.

Alice’s Curious Labyrinth 

A whimsical outdoor maze based on Alice in Wonderland, filled with playful statues, colorful hedges, and charming surprises around every turn. The journey ends with a climb up the Queen of Hearts’ Castle for a gorgeous view over Fantasyland.

Tip: Go early or late in the day – the pathways can get tight during peak hours. Kids love leading the way through this one!

Discoveryland

Les Mystères du Nautilus 

Descend below the lagoon into Captain Nemo’s submarine from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. This atmospheric walk-through attraction lets guests explore detailed rooms filled with machinery, books, and an unforgettable sea monster encounter.

Tip: It’s a great hidden gem when you need to escape rain or heat, or for us- the rain! It’s often nearly empty, making it easy to take your time exploring.

Shows

Main Street U.S.A

Disney Tales of Magic (evening fireworks show)

The crown jewel of a Disneyland Paris day, Disney Tales of Magic lights up the sky above Sleeping Beauty Castle in a spectacular blend of fireworks, fountains, music, and projections. The show celebrates beloved Disney and Pixar stories, weaving together emotional moments and dazzling visual effects that make it a must-see for every visitor.

Disneyland Paris was the first Disney park where I saw the projections on the castle and I’ve thought about it ever since. I love that other parks now do the same thing, but there is nothing like seeing it for the first time! 

Expect classic Disney songs, breathtaking pyrotechnics, and castle projections that transform the landmark into scenes from your favorite films.

Tip: Arrive 30 – 45 minutes early to claim a central viewing spot in front of the castle. If you’re visiting with kids, standing slightly back toward Main Street often provides a better view of the fireworks and allows for an easier exit afterward.

Disney Stars on Parade (parade route)

I LOVE a good Disney parade, and this was no different. A daily highlight at Disneyland Paris, Disney Stars on Parade brings your favorite characters to life with vibrant floats, themed music, and energetic dancers. From Mickey and friends to the heroes of Frozen and Toy Story, it’s an unforgettable display of Disney magic in motion.

Parade Route: The parade typically begins in Fantasyland near “it’s a small world” and travels down through Central Plaza before finishing along Main Street, U.S.A.

Tip: Stake out a spot at least 30 minutes before parade time. Frontierland and Fantasyland areas are usually less crowded than Main Street, offering closer views with less waiting, but our spot was right in front of Pizzeria Bella Notte and it was perfect! 

Frontierland

Le Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands

This stage show is a powerhouse of live music, acrobatics, and dance inspired by The Lion King. Set in the Frontierland Theatre, the production is entirely unique to Disneyland Paris – no dialogue, just rhythm, movement, and song that capture the emotion of the story beautifully.

This is one of the park’s most popular shows, so arrive early or use the Disneyland Paris app to reserve access when available. The covered theatre provides shade and is a great mid-day break.

Discoveryland

Videopolis Theatre Located in the heart of Discoveryland, Videopolis is a large indoor venue that often features short musical performances, seasonal shows, or screenings throughout the day. It also houses a quick-service dining area, making it one of the few spots in the park where you can eat while enjoying live entertainment.

Show Experience: Expect rotating entertainment, from live singers to themed shows during special events. It’s family-friendly and air-conditioned – perfect for a rest stop.Discoveryland Theatre – Mickey’s PhilharMagic

Mickey’s PhilharMagic is a 4D musical adventure that immerses guests in Disney’s most iconic songs and moments. When Donald Duck gets ahold of Mickey’s sorcerer hat, chaos unfolds – and guests are whisked through magical scenes from The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, The Lion King, and more.

Show Experience: With 3D visuals, scents, and bursts of air and water, this attraction blends animation and sensory effects to create pure Disney joy.

Tip: It’s a walk-in theater with frequent showtimes, so waits are usually short. It’s a perfect option during rainy weather or when little ones need a seated break.

Now it’s time to hop over to Walt Disney Studios – I LOVE the convenience of having the parks right across from each other. This is a major perk at Disneyland California as well. 

Walt Disney Studios Park is undergoing a major refurbishment, with many new rides, attractions, and experiences being built. The park will even see a name change to Disney Adventure World!

The current plan is to start opening some of the new areas in March 2026, but it’s always important to check back on the Disneyland Paris website to confirm dates as they get closer. 

Pro-Tip: If you are staying at a Disney hotel and have access to Extra Magic Time, I would start with Walt Disney Studios as the lines get long quick with a limited amount of rides open!

Rides

World Premier Plaza 

Les Tapis Volants – Flying Carpets over Agrabah 

Take flight on a magic carpet above the streets of Agrabah, led by the Genie himself. Riders can control the carpet’s height, adding an interactive touch. 

Fun Detail: The set resembles a movie shoot, complete with a “director’s camera” aimed at your flight!

​The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

Step into a haunted Hollywood hotel frozen in time. After an eerie pre-show, board an elevator that plunges and rises unpredictably through the dark, accompanied by chilling screams. I love that they have kept this ride with the original theming, we will see if it remains as Walt Disney Studios transforms! 

Ride Experience: Intense drops and incredible storytelling make this one of the park’s signature thrills. Try it at night for even creepier atmosphere and shorter lines.

​Worlds of Pixar

Cars Quatre Roues Rallye

This is similar to a “whip” style ride, like the Swirling Saucers in Hollywood Studios. 

​Race and spin through Radiator Springs alongside Lightning McQueen and friends. Each car whirls and twirls independently, giving every ride a different spin. A fun, dizzying family ride with Cars theming and playful few minutes. 

Crush’s Coaster 

A thrilling spinning roller-coaster themed to Finding Nemo. Guests board turtle-shell style cars, plunging through dark ride scenes, encountering threats like jellyfish and whirlpools, before spinning into more intense coaster elements. If you struggle with motion sickness, you may want to skip this one. 

We didn’t love this ride. SO many people told us it was the best ride in both parks, and we just didn’t feel the same. It’s basically a wild-mouse style ride, but inside and basically in the complete dark, where you could be backward for nearly the entire ride. We love thrilling rides, but this one was a bit much.

Tip: It’s popular – lines grow fast. Use Disney Premier Access if available (paid skip-the-line service), or ride first thing in the morning to avoid long waits. 

​Ratatouille: L’Aventure (as of October 2025, it’s closed for major refurbishment)

An immersive 4D/trackless dark ride based on the Ratatouille film. Guests are “shrunk” to the size of Remy, racing through Gusteau’s kitchen, hiding under tables, escaping rats and kitchens, etc. Lots of oversized props, smells, playful surprises. 

It’s very similar to the ride in Epcot, if you have been on that version, you could skip the wait for this one. 

Tip: When it reopens, try to ride early – once it’s fresh again, crowds will likely be heavier, especially in the morning. Also, those sensitive to 3D effects may welcome the shift to 2D.

​Cars ROAD TRIP

This was a fun surprise for us once you get to “the” scene. I won’t spoil it for everyone, but my daughter LOVED it! While it isn’t made for adrenaline junkies, it’s a fun experience for small children who like Cars. 

A scenic ride/tram tour through settings inspired by the Cars franchise. It replaced the former Studio Tram Tour: Behind the Magic. Guests explore along Route 66 – style roadside vistas, themed settings, character moments, and playful surprises. 

Tip: This ride is less intense, so good for families who want something relaxing yet thematically strong. It’s also helpful when other big rides have long lines – this is often faster. Check waits early/late in the day.

​Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop

Soar high above Toy Story Playland as you join the Green Army Men on a thrilling parachute jump. Each “drop” mimics the rush of a real descent from a toy soldier’s perspective.

• Ride Experience: Family-friendly with mild thrills and great views – expect gentle bounces, not free falls.

Tip: Lines move slowly due to limited capacity, so consider riding early or during parade times.

​Slinky Dog Zig Zag 

Hop aboard Slinky Dog as he chases his tail in endless loops! This circular spinning ride is a delight for younger guests. This is a gentle, rhythmic spinning perfect for little ones.

Tip: Ideal as a warm-up ride or for those too small for RC Racer.

​RC Racer

Strap in for a high-speed ride on Andy’s orange racetrack! RC launches you forward and backward on a giant half-pipe, reaching thrilling heights.

This ride is similar to a pirate ship-style ride that you would see at the fair or a carnival. It’s a fun attraction for the park! 

​Tip: Sit near the back for a stronger feeling of acceleration.

World of Frozen (opening March 29th, 2026)

Frozen Ever After

This is expected to be a similar ride experience to the current ride in Epcot. You will take a journey through the scenes from Frozen while on a boat, and trust me- it’s totally normal to sing the songs as you go, “let go” of your embarrassment 😉

Marvel Avengers Campus

Avengers Assemble: Flight Force 

This reminds me of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in Hollywood Studios, but with a fun retheme of Avengers. It’s a fast, launched roller coaster in the Marvel Avengers Campus. You will see Iron Man and Captain America, with rapid launches, high speeds, and inversions.

Tip: Perfect for thrill-seekers. If you like coaster intensity, make this a priority. Check height requirements (it tends to be stricter). Also ride at less busy times – after parades or earlier in the morning

Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure 

This is a family favorite! 

Join Peter Parker and the Worldwide Engineering Brigade on a high-tech mission to stop rogue Spider-Bots from overrunning the campus. Guests use 3D glasses and motion-tracking technology to sling virtual webs using just their hands – no controller required. What an improvement since the Wii remotes, right?!

Each guest’s arm movements are tracked individually, so teamwork makes a big difference in your final score.
Ride Experience: A fast-paced interactive 3D attraction that’s part game, part ride – perfect for competitive families.

Tip: Aim for smaller targets for higher points; each web-slinging move counts!

The newly opened, beautiful, and immersive entrance with film set details and nostalgic Hollywood vibes. This is such a cool entrance experience. I really hope they continue with this style vibe as they refurbish much of the park. 

World of Frozen (opening March 29th, 2026)

The entire land of Frozen is practically one big attraction! Keep an eye out for trolls!

Animation Celebration – Frozen: A Musical Invitation 

Step into the enchanting world of Arendelle in this immersive two-part stage experience that brings Disney’s Frozen to life. Guests are welcomed into Kristoff’s barn, where Anna and Kristoff teach everyone the royal dance to prepare for a very special celebration at Elsa’s Ice Palace.

After learning the moves (and maybe meeting Sven along the way!), the doors open to the second act – a dazzling finale where Elsa herself appears in a breathtaking flurry of snow and song.

Pro Tips:

• Arrive early or reserve your spot through the Disneyland Paris app – capacity is limited and this show fills up quickly.
• Shows alternate between French and English, so check the schedule to match your language preference.

Animagique Theater – Mickey and the Magician 

Follow Mickey as he learns the secrets of stage magic from beloved Disney characters in this award-winning musical. This is a must-see production filled with live singing, incredible illusions, and dazzling costumes.

Tip: Arrive 20–30 minutes early for good seats – this show fills quickly.

​Studio Theater – TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure 

If you see one show while you are in this park, let it be this show! 

Join beloved Pixar characters as they team up in an epic musical journey that blends live performers, dancers, and projections. It’s heartwarming and cinematic, appealing to all ages.

Tip: The musical score was created exclusively for Disneyland Paris – listen for familiar Pixar melodies woven throughout. The orchestra does an incredible job!

​Stitch Live!

Chat live with Stitch in a hilarious, interactive show that changes every time! Audience members get called out by name as Stitch causes chaos. This show is family-friendly and unpredictable – the interactivity makes it feel spontaneous, because it is!.

Tip: English and French shows alternate – check the schedule to match your language preference.

​Theater of the Stars – Alice and the Queen of Hearts Back to Wonderland

This high-energy stage show reimagines Alice’s story with rock music, skate stunts, and vibrant visuals. The Queen’s arena-style performance will surprise even seasoned Disney fans. The finale features an audience vote that changes the outcome – will you side with Alice or the Queen?
Tip: Best enjoyed from mid-to-back rows to take in the full spectacle of lights and movement.

Before traveling to Disneyland, I recommend checking into the ride and attraction closure schedule. There are rotating attractions closed throughout the year, so make sure you don’t miss your most anticipated rides in Disneyland Paris.

The Best Disneyland Paris Rides

The best of nearly anything is going to be a very personal choice, but I thought it would be helpful to include which rides with we loved the most in the Disneyland Paris parks, and which ones we feel are different enough to prioritize on a first visit. 

In Disneyland Parc, the Casey Jr. Train was a fun surprise, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was the best version you could imagine for this ride, and “it’s a small world” was beautiful! In Walt Disney Studios, we enjoyed Spider-Man and Cars Quatre Roues Rallye.
