A few things to be aware of in the area:

  • Not all communities allow short-term rentals, so you may not be able to book an exact location you had in mind, but there are still beautiful rentals available.
  • Many rentals in the area of investment properties of either locals or families who travel to the area regularly. You will often have great service because the individuals are dedicated to a great experience. However, it’s important to keep in mind the pros and cons of staying in a short term rental vs a hotel, which is why I have included recommendations for both.
  • MidNovember through the end of January are extremely busy in St Augustine as it’s time for Nights of Lights. If you are traveling to historic downtown St Augustine with the goal in mind of seeing the beautiful lights display, it’s a beautiful time of year! However, if you aren’t aware, it brings in thousands of visitors every single day during that time frame and will be very busy.
