Why EPCOT?

EPCOT is home to 11 World Showcase pavilions, each representing a different country. Here, you can immerse yourself in authentic cuisine, entertainment, and, of course, unique drinks inspired by each nation’s culture. With its focus on culinary diversity, EPCOT has become a favorite for adults wanting to experience Disney in a different way.

Epcot is known for being a great place for an adults Disney trip, and for good reason! There is something for everyone. Whether you want to snack around Epcot’s World Showcase, enjoy great beers, ride thrilling rides (Cosmic Rewind is the BEST), try a twist on your favorite cocktail, or sample a new drink- it’s a great time!

Tips for Drinking Around the World

  1. Pace Yourself: With 11 countries to explore, start slowly. Hydrate between stops, and don’t feel pressured to finish every drink. Depending on the time of year, it’s likely to be a hot day; take advantage of the free water around the park and be sure to bring your own water bottle.
  2. Share and Sip: Especially with the higher ABV cocktails, splitting drinks is a good way to try more without overindulging. We usually do this between 2-3 people for each drink we buy!
  3. Eat Along the Way: EPCOT offers fantastic snacks and small bites—pair your drinks with food to help stay balanced. Look into the current festival (view the list below!) to see if their food booths sound good. Or if you are interested in the table service restaurants in the park, there are plenty of great options!
  4. Start Early: Beginning in the early afternoon allows plenty of time to enjoy each drink without feeling rushed.
  5. Enjoy the Park: There is so much to do in the park. Don’t limit yourself to trying the best drinks in Epcot; break up the day with other activities.
  6. Document the Journey: Snap photos and take notes—there are some drinks you’ll want to remember for future visits! I’m always terrible about taking photos once we have started the fun days with friends, so don’t be like me!
  7. Look for the Walk-Up Bars: There are bars all around the park, many you will find as a stand within each pavilion, but others are within restaurants with a walk-up bar inside.

  • Merchandise: Each festival has exclusive merchandise themed to the event—this can make for great souvenirs, especially collectible glasses and drinkware.

Whether you’re sipping on flower-inspired drinks, celebrating with seasonal cocktails, or sampling global wines, Epcot’s festivals make drinking around the world even more immersive. Each season offers its own unique twist, creating new reasons to explore Epcot all year long!

Best Drinks in Epcot at Each Pavillion

Now let’s dive into the specialty drinks you can find in Epcot year-round. Here’s a breakdown of top drink recommendations by country, along with some standout options to consider for your sipping adventure. This list mainly includes alcoholic beverages, but there are amazing non-alcoholic options as well!

Mexico Pavillion

  • La Cava Avocado Margarita: Made with tequila, melon liqueur, fresh avocado, and lime juice, it’s creamy, refreshing, and visually stunning.
  • Blood Orange Margarita: A crowd-pleaser for its vibrant color and balanced sweet-tart flavor.
  • Route Tip: Many people start their day here. However, there is a debate on which way you should actually go to start your exploration around the world between Mexico and Canada. If you base your opinion on the festival passports, you will start in Canada.
  • Pro Tip: If you want to start the day strong, look into a tequila tasting in La Cava del Tequila, we have done this a few times and it’s a fun, unique experience.

Norway Pavillion

  • Aass Pilsner: This light Norwegian pilsner is smooth and pairs well with a stop in the beautiful Viking-themed pavilion. The Beer Stand in Norway often has a few rotating traditional beers, I recommend you get one that you haven’t tried previously.
  • Frozen Viking Coffee: Perfect for those who want a caffeine boost, with a creamy blend of coffee and spirits. Try some of the school bread while you are at it!

China Pavillion (Joy of Tea)

  • Tipsy Ducks in Love: A fan favorite, this drink is a mix of bourbon, coffee, tea, and chocolate, delivering a rich, indulgent flavor.
  • Kung Fu Punch: Made with mango and rum, it’s a tropical burst that’s sweet and refreshing.
  • Dragon Blossom Beer: a delicious draft beer with hints of orange, honey and green tea.

Germany Pavillion

  • Schöfferhofer Grapefruit Beer: Light and citrusy, this one is a refreshing choice for pacing yourself. I absolutely love this beer!
  • Beer Flights: Try a beer flight of German brews for a mini-tasting tour within a stop!

Italy Pavilion

  • Bronte: Delightful drink with a gelato base, including pistachio liqueur and pistachio gelato.
  • Rosa Regale: This sparkling red wine is perfect for those looking for a fruity, bubbly treat.

The American Adventure

  • Frozen Black Cherry Bourbon Lemonade: Red Stag bourbon, lemonade, and a frosty twist make this a refreshing, southern-inspired pick.
  • Beers on Draft: Try classic beers from the United States at Block & Hans. Mango Cart gets my vote- it’s SO good on draft.
  • Frozen Pineapple-Chipotle Lemonade: One of my favorite non-alcoholic drinks in the World Showcase!

Japan Pavillion

  • Violet Sake: Sweet and beautifully purple, this sake cocktail is unique and visually stunning.
  • Sake Flight: Explore the world of sake with a tasting flight that lets you sample various styles.

Morocco Pavillion

  • Moroccan Mule: With a mix of fig vodka, lime juice, and ginger beer, this mule has a sweet, exotic twist. Servied at Spice Road Table, you can walk in and go to the bar rather than having a sit-down meal.
  • Frozen Mint Tea: Exactly as it sounds, this is a delicious frozen tea with gin.
  • Blood Orange Mimosa: Want something refreshing and light to sip? This is perfect! With orange juice and added flavor, it’s delicious!

France Pavillion

  • Grand Marnier Orange Slush: A well-loved favorite, this boozy slushie is both potent and refreshing.
  • La Vie en Rose Frozen Slush: Featuring vodka, cranberry, and orange, this pink slushie is as tasty as it is Instagrammable.

United Kingdom Pavilion

  • Snake Bite: A half-and-half combo of cider and lager; it’s easy to drink and has a fun mix of flavors.
  • Pimm’s Cup: A classic British cocktail, light and refreshing, perfect for a mid-tour break.

Canada

  • Ottawa Apple: A Canadian-inspired drink with whiskey, apple, and cranberry—fruity with a little kick.
  • Moosehead Lager: The popular Canadian lager is a great option for those who prefer beer. There are a few Canadian beer options at the popcorn cart if you want additional options to go along with maple popcorn!

Make the most of your Disney trip by staying at a Disney resort!

Itinerary for Drinking Around the World

As mentioned above, it’s debatable where you should start. I am sticking with the classic recommendation of most, rather than how Disney designs their festival passports.

  1. Mexico: Start with the Avocado Margarita to get into the festive mood.
  2. Norway: Cool off with the Frozen Viking Coffee or a Norwegian beer.
  3. China: Try the Tipsy Ducks in Love for a coffee-chocolate combo.
  4. Germany: Schöfferhofer Grapefruit Beer is light enough for pacing.
  5. Italy: Enjoy a Limoncello Mule or Bronte.
  6. The American Adventure: Frozen Lemonade for a refreshing stop.
  7. Japan: The beautiful Violet Sake is a must for photos and taste.
  8. Morocco: A Moroccan Mule adds a spicy twist.
  9. France: Grand Marnier Orange Slush is both tasty and refreshing.
  10. United Kingdom: Enjoy a Snake Bite to honor classic pub culture.
  11. Canada: Finish strong with an Ottawa Apple to end your journey.
