Best Table Service Restaurant at EPCOT | Disney World

If you’re planning a trip to EPCOT at Walt Disney World, one of the best parts of the experience is the incredible variety of dining options. EPCOT is famous for its food, especially within the World Showcase, where you can taste authentic cuisine from around the globe. With a wide range of table-service restaurants offering everything from sushi to French pastries, EPCOT’s sit-down dining scene is an adventure in itself. So, what is the best table service restaurant at Epcot? Let’s dig in…no pun intended.

I will admit, my favorite meals are usually from the festival stands within EPCOT rather than the sit-down restaurants, but I will give credit where credit is due because EPCOT does have some amazing options. And a bonus- if there is an exciting concert happening while you are visiting Walt Disney World, reserve a table service meal for the day of the concert so you can get reserved seating at the concert. I share more on this at the end of the post!

All About Epcot

First, I want to share a little bit about Epcot for those who may not be familiar. Often considered an “adult park,” it’s actually our family’s favorite park, and for good reason. The park offers a blend of entertainment, education, cultural experiences, open spaces and fun rides and attractions.

  • The attractions and rides are fun for everyone. Everything from the most amazing rollercoaster you will ever experience (Cosmic Rewind) to a fun ride for the whole family (Frozen Ever After) and much more, it’s a great park for fun rides.
  • The World Showcase where you can see the world, or at least 11 countries, in one trip around the park. Each pavilion (country) offers an immersive experience from the design to the cuisine and the offerings. You are also able to meet the respective characters throughout the countries as well.
  • Educational experiences for each child to learn more about different countries at the Kid-Cot stops.
  • Seasonal festivals which bring a variety of experiences, food and drink options with them.
  • The iconic Spaceship Earth is one of the first things I think of when I picture Walt Disney World. It’s a ride on the inside and a beautiful light display at night on the outside.
  • A slower pace and room to run. The walkways are wider, there are often playgrounds or picnic areas to hang out in and many shaded areas or fountains for a break.
  • A perk of the Epcot theme park is the easy access to some of our favorite restaurants outside of the park – while this list will provide helpful details about our favorite places within Epcot, be sure to look into the nearby resort restaurants like Flying Fish or Ale & Compass.

Meal Options in Epcot

There are a few different options for meals in Epcot. Depending on your tastes, the amount of time, and money you want to spend, table service meals may not be ideal for your family. However, if you are looking for a unique dining experience, you will definitely find that from a Disney World Restautant in Epcot. But first, let’s chat about the great dining options across the park.

  • Quick Service Resturant: These are counter service options where you place your order, either via the mobile app or at the counter, and take your food to a table. Quick service options include; Sunshine Seasons, Connections Eatery, Regal Eagle Smokehouse, Katsura Grill, Yorkshire County Fish Shop and more.
  • Festival Booths: These are quick-service style options but rotate depending on the current festival. They are situated all around the park and have great offerings for smaller meal options. A great way to eat around the world and try a variety of cuisines!
  • Table service meals: These are sit-down restaurants and offer a variety of experiences depending on what you are looking for and the level of service expected. Options include: Signature dining (fine dining option for a more elegant atmosphere), Charcter dining (where you will experience a character meal when they stop for photos and autographs are are present during the meal), and other table-service options like hibachi or a beer garden style restaurant.

It’s also important to consider if you have the Disney dining plan. If you do, you will be able to partake in specific dining experiences based on the plan you are utilizing. Be sure to look into the quick service and table service options, plus how many snack credits or meal credits your ideal options will use.

Now that you know a bit more about Epcot, here’s a guide to all the sit-down restaurants in EPCOT, including descriptions, atmosphere, meal style, and price ranges so you can plan the perfect meal for your family. Please keep in mind that most restaurants require advanced dining reservations.

Our Recommendations for the Best Restaurant in Epcot

I highly recommend looking for the most unique experience, diverse meal or the best “extra” like character dining. I truly believe that food is a very personal choice, so while I may think one restaurant has the best food, you may think differently, so please consider all options for your family!

Experience: Space 220! We thought the menu provided good options, but the overall experience was absolutely incredible! It’s a steep price but worth it for the unique environment. My daughter was enamored and really though we were in space!

Best Character Meal: Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is a wonderful option for seeing the princesses!

Best Food: It depends on your palette, but I would recommend Spice Road Table or Le Cellier Steakhouse.

Eat To The Beat Details

To get reserved seating for the Eat to the Beat Concert Series at EPCOT, one of the best ways is by booking an Eat to the Beat Dining Package at one of the table-service restaurants in EPCOT. Here’s how it works:

 1. Book an Eat to the Beat Dining Package: The dining package offers a meal at one of EPCOT’s participating table-service restaurants plus reserved seating for the concert later that evening. The reserved seating ensures you have a prime spot to enjoy the show without waiting in line, which is especially useful during busy times.

 2. Choose from Participating Restaurants: Many of EPCOT’s popular table-service restaurants offer the dining package. Some of the typical participants include:

  • Akershus Royal Banquet Hall (Norway Pavilion)
  • Biergarten Restaurant (Germany Pavilion)
  • Coral Reef Restaurant (Future World)
  • Garden Grill Restaurant (Future World)
  • Le Cellier Steakhouse (Canada Pavilion)
  • Rose & Crown Dining Room (UK Pavilion)
  • Spice Road Table (Morocco Pavilion)
  • Regal Eagle (America

Each restaurant offers a prix fixe meal (a set menu with appetizers, entrees, and desserts) as part of the package. Prices vary based on the restaurant, but they generally range from around $60 to $100 per adult depending on the location and meal.

 3. Make Reservations in Advance: The Eat to the Beat Dining Package can be booked online through the Walt Disney World Dining Reservations system or by calling Disney directly. Except for the Reagle Eagle, which you should line up for in the morning before it opens. It’s important to make your reservation early, as spots for the dining package are limited and fill up quickly, especially during festival times like EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival.

 4. Enjoy Your Meal and Get Your Concert Voucher: On the day of your reservation, head to the restaurant for your meal. After your meal, you’ll receive a voucher that entitles you to reserved seating at that night’s Eat to the Beat concert.

5. Arrive at the Concert with Your Voucher: The concert takes place at the America Gardens Theatre in the American Adventure Pavilion. When you arrive at the concert venue, present your dining package voucher at the reserved seating entrance. Your reserved seating will be in a special section with better views, ensuring you have a great spot to enjoy the show.

Pro Tips:

  • Timing matters: The timing of your dining reservation is important because the package is tied to specific showtimes. When you book, you’ll be given a time for the concert based on availability.
  • Concert times: There are usually three concerts per evening, and each lasts about 30-45 minutes.
  • Flexible seating: While you’ll have reserved seating, it’s not assigned, so arriving early can help you snag the best seat within the reserved section.

With this package, you can enjoy both a delicious meal and an exciting live performance without the hassle of standing in long lines!

EPCOT’s sit-down restaurants offer a wide range of dining experiences, from festive and lively to elegant and intimate. Whether you’re craving international flavors or classic American cuisine, there’s something for every family and budget. Be sure to make reservations in advance, as these popular spots can fill up quickly, especially during busy seasons! Enjoy dining at one of the best restaurants in Epcot!
