Best Snacks in Walt Disney World | Snack Guide 2024

If you are traveling to Walt Disney World, you will have to plan many details in advance. Everything from which parks you will visit on which day, the rides you want to prioritize, all the spots to get free water (I can help with this in Magic Kingdom and EPCOT!), and of course, where to buy the very best snacks at every park and in every resort!

Disney isn’t just home to Mickey Mouse, it’s also home to all the iconic snacks like Mickey pretzels, cool popcorn buckets and nearly every sweet treat you could imagine. I’m excited to make planning a bit easier for you by sharing the best Disney World snacks around the property! Whether you are looking for savory options or a sweet snack, there is something for everyone.

Best Snacks At Disney World - Mickey Pretzels

If you have the Disney Dining Plan, most of these snacks will count as one credit. It’s always helpful to check in the app before planning out your snacks though!

Best Snacks At The Disney World Parks

Let’s start with some of the favorite snacks in the parks! You will find most snacks at stands around the parks or within quick service restaurants. These are listed in no particular order (unless otherwise specified) as they are all known to be a hit for our family!

Magic Kingdom

Best Overall Snack: The iconic Dole Whip at Aloha Isle is a must-try. It’s a refreshing pineapple soft-serve treat that’s perfect for a sunny day. The Tropical Serenade Float includes an upside-down pineapple cake pop, and it’s incredible! I prefer it when mobile orders are available because the line can get long, but even if you have to stand in line- it’s worth it!

Best Snacks Around Magic Kingdom

  • Caramel Apples from Main Street Bakery. There are so many options for candy apples, caramel apples, chocolate apples and more. They are delicious! Slightly messy but very good.
  • Casey’s Corner Hot Dog or Corn Dog Nuggets. In my opinion, this is a meal and not a snack, but my husband feels differently.
  • Joffrey’s Coffee Donut in Tomorrowland. These donuts are HUGE and my daughter loves them.
  • Cream Cheese Stuffed Pretzel from The Lunching Pad in Tomorrowland. I LOVE cream cheese pretzels, and regular pretzels, and this is the best pretzel you will find in WDW. The salty and sweet if perfection.
  • Warm Cinnamon Roll from Gaston’s Tavern is stuffed with deliciousness and comes with a delicious sweet dipping sauce. They also have a Grey Stuff cupcake.
  • A churro from the stand in front of the castle.
  • Jalapeno Poppers from the Westward Ho stand.
  • Many people talk about the Cheshire Cat Tail from Cheshire cafe, but I’m not a huge fan.
  • Cheeseburger spring rolls from the spring roll cart in Adventureland.
  • A Mickey Waffle or Funnel Cake from Sleepy Hollow is a great option. I would likely go for the Waffle with berries, though it will be no comparison to the Fruit Waffle. If you have experienced either the fruit waffle or the Chicken Waffle before, I’m sad right along with you that these are no longer offered from the stand. Two of the best snacks you could find in Disney Parks.

Epcot

Best Overall Snack: Head to the Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in the Norway Pavilion for some delicious School Bread. It’s a sweet roll filled with vanilla custard and topped with coconut. Also the Mickey Cinnamon Roll!

Best Snacks Around World Showcase

  • Poutine from the Refreshment Port. They usually have seasonal options, but we love the standard option too!
  • A Croque Glacé at the L’Artisan des Glaces in the France Pavilion. This delicious brioche bun, pressed with your choice of ice cream and sauce is incredible! It’s like an ice cream cookie sandwich but with BREAD instead of a cookie.
  • Warm Baguettes from Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie served as a half or full size.
  • Crepes from Crepes A Emporter is a Crepe walk up window with great options for sweet and savory snacks.
  • A turkey leg from America. This is a no from me but a major must for my husband.
  • Jumbo pretzel with beer cheese from Germany.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Best Overall Snack: Jack-Jack’s Num Num Cookie from the Neighborhood Bakery is a delicious large, warm cookie. I’m always down for a warm cookie and this one is amazing!

Best Snacks At Disney World - Star Wars Galaxys Edge Blue and Green Milk

Best Snacks Around Hollywood Studios

  • Carrot Cake Woopie Pie from the Trolley Car Cafe.
  • Bavaraian Pretzel with a Strawberry Hibiscus Soda from Baseline Tap House. Keep the receipt and you get free refills all day!
  • Blue or Green milk from Galaxy’s Edge. My daughter loves this Star Wars drink- I think it tastes reminiscent of shampoo, but she’s a big fan.
  • Ronto Wrap from Ronto Roasters. I have had the pork sausage version though my husband says it’s great. I love the Triple Suns Breakfast wrap.
  • Totchos from Woody’s Lunch box in Toy Story Land. Crispy tater tots with nacho toppings- they are delicious!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Overall Best Snack: Pongu Lumpia and a Night Blossum from Pongu Pongu in the world of Avatar. The lumpia Is a sweet spring roll with cream cheese, and the Night Blossom is a slushie with bursting boba.

Best Snacks Around Animal Kingdom

  • Steamed Cheeseburger Bao buns from Satu’li Canteen in Pandora
  • Churros with strawberry-guava and vanilla dippingsauce from Nomad Lounge.
  • Grilled Corn from Harambe Fruit Market

Best Snacks At The Resorts

As for the resorts, each one offers its own unique snacks. We love resort hopping, whether it’s to explore, snack, drink or grab dinner, there is always something to see.

What is Resort Hopping? It’s when you visit multiple resorts on Disney property, which is completely allowed, even if you aren’t staying at the resort! You aren’t permitted to use the pool or a few other amenities, but you are free to explore the resort, restaurants and bars. It’s one of our favorite things to do when visiting Walt Disney World and such a fun way to experience Disney outside of the parks!

Best Snacks At Disney World - Dole Whip Float

Disney’s Polynesian Resort: Try the Tonga Toast at Capt Cooks if you are there in the morning. It’s a deep-fried banana-stuffed French toast that’s absolutely delicious. You could argue that this isn’t a snack, but please TRUST me. It’s the best breakfast on the property. You can also enjoy delicious Dole Whip from Pineapple Lamai.

Grand Floridian Resort & Spa: Espresso Banana Bread from the Gasparilla Grill is a great snack! Grab a latte while you are in the restaurant from the coffee bar.

Best Snacks At Disney World - Mickey Joffrey's Coffee

The Contemporary Resort: Cookie crossaint from the Contempo Cafe or a Flyin Hawaiian smoothie from Contemporary Grounds.

Wilderness Lodge: Geyser Chicken Wings or a Charcuterie Flatbread from Geyser Point Bar & Grill.

Fort Wilderness: Smores with Chip and Dale! There are snack options around the resort, but the best experience is roasting marshmallows right before the Chip and Dale sing a long.

Best Snacks At Disney World - Port Orleans Beignets

PS I LOVE this Mickey sun hat and wear it constantly in Disney! It’s light and adorable.

Port Orleans: The Mickey Beignets from the Scat Cat Club Cafe are one of the most delicious snack options in all of Walt Disney World! You can order a sundea or have them filled with Baileys or RumChata, but my favorite is the original with the salted caramel sauce! You can order 1 dipping sauce with every order of 6 beignets, and order additional for an extra $1. The sauce flavors are Salted Caramel, Strawberry and Cicory Chocolate Ganache.

Old Key West: Conch Fritters or Hushpuppies from Olivia’s Cafe or the Gurrgling Suitcase.

Saratoga Springs: Milk & Cookies Cupcake from The Artist Pallete. This is the perfect tasty treat if you like cookie dough. It’s a vanilla cupcake with edible cookie dough, chocolate chips and a cookie.

Riviera Resort: Get the Banana Bread from either Primo Piatto or Le Petit Cafe. The Baked Brie and Arancini from Bar Riva are always the perfect snack as well.

Caribbean Beach Resort: Guava Buffalo wings from Banana Cabana, or the doughnut holes with chocolate sauce from Centertown Market.

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort: The Landscape of Flavors food court has a Mermaid Tail Cupcake which has been a hit in our family since we stayed at AOA for the first time in 2021.

Pop Century: The Everything Pop food court doesn’t have many specialities, but the Mickey-shaped brownie is always a winner, or the Mickey Cinnamon Roll.

Boardwalk: There is a new snack on the list for this resort…Corn Dogs from Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs! After construction on the stand started over a year ago, we are finally excited to try one of the corn dogs. A few of the options include Mexican Street Food, and Pickle! I’ll try one of each please! I am also a fan of the grilled cheese and tomato soup from Boardwalk Deli.

Best Snacks At Disney World - Beaches N Cream

Beach & Yacht Club: Either the Cookie’s N Cream Trifle or the Caramal Cheesecake from the Market at Ale & Compass (Yacht club), or the Kitchen Sink ice cream from Beaches & Cream! You will often find speciality shakes from Beaches & Cream as well!

Animal Kingdom Lodge: It’s not totally a classic snack, but one of the most savory snacks if you could call it a snack would be the bread service at Sanaa! Not only is it totally unique but it’s also absolutely delicious!

Coronado Springs: Gelato from Cafe Rix or if you have time, order the Fried Churro Ice Cream from Maya Grill! It’s a delicious dessert if you have a sweet tooth and is some of the best churros on property.

All-Star Resorts: You will find some standard desserts at each All-Star resort, including a variety of pastries, cookies, ice creams, and speciality cupcakes. While I can’t say I have a favorite from any of the three resorts, they do have a big variety of sweet and savory snacks.

We’ll also count Disney Springs: For some amazing gourmet donuts, visit the Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew. They offer a variety of flavors and they’re all so good that it’s hard to pick just one. Gideon’s Bakehouse is home to some of the most unique snack options.

Best Snacks At Disney World - Ice Cream Epcot

You will also find some of the same snacks around most properties, like the standard resort breakfast options or Mickey waffle platters, or totcho potato barrels, plus the soft pretzel and Mickey ice cream bar stands, funnel cakes and ice cream shops, limited time or seasonal flavors depending on the time of year, and more. Disney is often changing their menus so while I hope you are able to try everything you want from this list, keep in mind that new options readily become available.

If you are around the property looking for a quick afternoon snack to get some food in your bellies amongst the busy park days, I highly recommend ordering a kids meal with chicken tenders and french fries. Not every snack needs to be something to write home about, and the kids meals come with you choice of slides between fries, apple slices, yogurts and various options. There are also honey mustard and ranch packets at nearly every condiment stand- which is a win for our sauce loving family. The best part- it’s less than $10 and usually a quick snack we all share.

I also recommend, if you are on the Disney Dining Plan, looking into which locations will accept a snack credit.

These are just a few of the many incredible snacks you can find throughout Walt Disney World. Each park and resort has its own specialties, so be sure to explore and try as many as you can!
