Would You Rather: Travel Edition Part 2
I have been following along with Sea Salt Secrets for quite sometime now, and Shane posts these awesome “Would You Rather” questions. The best part is they are all travel related! Do you remember playing Would You Rather as a child? We used to play on road trips, at sleepovers, etc. I love the twist on this version, and I never pass up an opportunity to talk about traveling. Some of these questions were seriously tough!
I have done one of these before, but I am 3 posts behind on the Would You Rather’s since then. I mixed it up and chose a few from the posts I had missed. If you take part in these fun questions, let me know!
Sleep in a comfy place with a clean bed but in a dodgy neighborhood OR sleep in a bad room (soft bed with springs popping out and skuzzy shared shower with cold water) in an excellent, 24/7 safe location?
I am going to go with a comfy place in a bad neighborhood. Whenever we go somewhere new, we try to be out and about exploring as much as possible. All we need in accommodations is a nice bed and a hot shower.
Take a whirlwind trip around Europe with a full itinerary OR spend three months soaking up all that Asia has to offer?
Since we have been to almost 10 countries in Europe, but none is Asia (until next year!!!) I would have to pick Asia. I want to fully immerse myself in the culture, activities and everyday life and 3 months sounds perfect.
A chauffeur that drives you to and from wherever you want in a vehicle of your choice OR a 5-star personal chef who prepares you every meal of the day?
I’m going to go with the personal chef. This could help with my health and I also hate cooking. Dave practically drives us all of the time anyway, and I’m not totally into cars. Although, I love our new SUV 😉
Stay in an all inclusive resort where you are waited on hand and foot but can’t leave the vicinity OR embark on a 10-day cruise where you are able to island hop?
This totally depends on what type of vacation we are going on. For our honeymoon we wanted a mix of both, but we generally plan to either have a vacation where we are constantly exploring, or an all-inclusive where we can relax the whole time. But, if I had to chose it would hands down be the 10-day cruise, that was a DREAM!
Take a trip with your significant other to a big party city like Ibiza OR with your best friends to a romantic destination such as Maldives?
We aren’t really party people like we used to be, so as much as I would like to go to Ibiza one day, I want to go to the Maldives more. After watching the gals from Real Housewives of Orange County take a trip there, I truly think it would be the perfect girls trip.
Be stuck for a week on a mountaintop with an amazing view OR on a deserted island with a beautiful beach?
Hands down I would pick the beach! #NauticalIsMyLoveLanguage
Lose all of your money OR all of the picture you have ever taken?
My photos mean so much to me and I would absolutely be heartbroken if they were gone forever. I am known to always have my phone in my hand, so I would rather lose all of my money that I could eventually get back.
Experience an epic waterslide OR an epic zip line?
Zip Line!! I am scared out of my mind but so excited to go zip-lining this summer. I have heard great things about what you get to see, I can’t imagine one more epic than those!
Call one place home for the rest of your life OR move somewhere new every year?
As a planner, this one is tough but as a traveler it is easy. If I was able to travel often, I would chose to call one place home. If I couldn’t travel, I would have to move every year.
