Afternoon in Hyde Park Village in Tampa, Florida

things to do in Tampa, Hyde Park Village

Hyde Park Village in Tampa is the place to spend a perfect afternoon.

With a mix of small businesses and high-end retailers, paired with coffee shops, restaurants, and desserts, it’s an excellent stop for a leisurely day.

Quoted as an “outdoor destination full of local experiences and stylish experiences” I couldn’t agree more!

Shopping. Yaya + Lou is the sweetest children’s boutique, Salt Pines had great outdoor attire and accessories, and you’ll also fine some bigger stores as well (Pottery Barn, Sur La Table, etc.)

Unique Offerings. Leafy Luv Affair had endless options for new plant friends and beautiful planters. Little Words Project has a cute shop with a make-your-own bracelet table (reservations required), or you can choose from their pre-made designs. I wanted them all!

Great Food. From snacks and juices to salads and authentic cuisine, there are options for any appetite.

All the coffee. Buddy Brew is an excellent choice for an iced coffee as you wander! The Salty Donut is opening soon.

Fun Desserts. I’m partial to Hyppo, though there are ice cream and cupcake stops as well.

This truly is the cutest little area! Right around the corner from a splash pad, park and playground, it’s the perfect stop for an afternoon.
