Spend A Day In Palm Beach, Florida

Are you looking for a quick getaway to sun, sand, and the most Instagramable streets? Palm Beach should be near the top of your list! We recently took a cruise out of the port of Palm Beach and decided to spend a day in the area before we left. It’s truly a beautifully decorated little town.

If you want to spend a day casually wandering around Palm Beach, here’s a guide to a great day with all the tropical vibes. I also encourage you to treat yourself to a stay at one of the incredible hotel options!

Getting to Palm Beach

If you are driving into the area, it’s under an hour from Ft. Lauderdale, under two hours from Miami, a little over two hours from Orlando and about four hours from St. Augustine (or Jacksonville). If you are flying, it’s easiest to fly into Palm Beach International or even Ft Lauderdale if the flights are a better fit. Another great option could be the BrightLine train from Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm, or Orlando.

Where To Stay

The Colony is a beautiful, pink, and tropical resort on the outside with all of the luxurious amenities you may want on the inside.

The Ben in West Palm is a gorgeous waterfront property owned by Marriott. Offering a stunning rooftop pool, bar, and restaurant.

The Breakers is likely the most well-known resort in Palm Beach. It’s beachfront, has incredible amenities, and doesn’t give you a reason to venture off-property- though you should!

Canopy Hotel West Palm Downtown is a Hilton property with a fun vibe, rooftop pool, and delicious restaurant. We have stayed in a few Canopy’s across the US and really like the vibe and offering. It’s always been a winner for us!

Stop For Coffee

One of my favorite activities when traveling is to find cute coffee shops for a quick snack, a coffee, and a few minutes to people-watch. Palm Beach coffee did not disappoint!

Pink Paradise- located inside The Colony

Via Roma Cafe- directly on Worth Avenue

HIVE- in West Palm, a great stop as you explore downtown

Where To Eat

Lola 41- delicious Asian-inspired meals, amazing cocktails, and a lovely location. if the weather is nice, ask for a patio reservation.

The Butchers Club- be prepared for 1950’s elegance, amazing steaks and smoky cocktails.

Oceano- owned by a husband and wife team with rotating, curated menus.

Things To Do

Shopping on Worth Avenue. A mini Rodeo drive with all of the designer stores your tropical heart may desire.

Spend a few hours on the beach- check to see if your hotel offers beach chairs and umbrellas! The beaches and ocean are gorgeous; give yourself at least a few hours to relax.

Visit Mounts Botanical Gardens

Book a sunset cruise for a beautiful view of the beach, incredible homes and the sunset.

Take a tour of the Flagler Museum. It’s a stunning home with beautiful views.
